Here are five things we want you to do with this election:
1. Take the time to research the candidates on all levels.
2. Visit your candidates' websites and social media. Learn about their platforms and see how they align with what's important to you!
3. Check your voter registration. Visit the Virginia Department of Electionsand take note of the important dates leading up to November 3rd!
4. Take your children to vote with you! Set the expectation that they need to participate in civic engagement at an early age.
5. If you are disappointed with the options on your ballot, find and support someone else to run in the next cycle. That person may be yourself! Here's where you can find information on upcoming Virginia elections.
